Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Vice President of Client Services and is responsible for working with end customers implementing our family of financial products which help clients meet the requirements of IFRS Transition.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Train clients on our suite of financial compliance products including IFRS PARTNER and CFO PARTNER
  • Work with government clients to scope International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) transition projects and assist in setup for project management for transition from SAS to IPSAS using our financial compliance software and proven methodology
  • Ability to work independently
  • Working in a team environment or one on one with clients
  • Support clients onsite and remotely using state of the art tools such as WebEx
  • Some domestic and international travel required to train and implement clients
  • Assist in development of new financial compliance solutions as the market requires

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Global travel required; you are currently based in Europe or Africa
  • Must have good English Language skills
  • Must have had hands-on IPSAS transition project experience for at least two years in Europe
  • Thorough knowledge IPSAS is a must, knowledge of IFRS a plus
  • Experience in large scale government accounting standard conversion projects a must
  • University degree combined with a professional accounting designation –CA,CMA,CGA, CIA
  • 10 years experience in project management roles
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving and decision making capability
  • Superior project management, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong software skills from and end user perspective
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to present information clearly
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Can communicate and work with people at all levels of the organization and from all backgrounds and countries
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to implement our software in government organizations
  • Desire to work in a high growth industry in a dynamic environment

  • Experience in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to
    customers
  • Experience with SQL Server, SQL CE
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the
    full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews,
    source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Ability to take a project from needs through actual launch of the project
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect
    requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3-7 years professional experience in software development
  • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
  • Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
  • Proficiency in C# Windows Forms
  • Proficiency in ASP .Net Web Forms programming a plus
  • Knowledge of financial accounting fundamentals (financial statement design) a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Excellent written and oral English skills
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Ability to manage own work with minimal supervision, including providing of regular status updates
  • Support, maintain and document software functionality
  • Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
